Our love of this storied adornment evolved into Documenting the Nameplate, a multi-year research project collecting photographs and testimonies from wearers across the country and around the world.
Featuring essays and interviews, portraits by contemporary photographers, archival imagery, first-person testimonies, and historical exploration, The Nameplateis a tribute to the people who make, wear, and cherish it.
